After repairing all that was within our expertise, we turned the house over to Carly, where she went above and beyond our expectations. She handled the details of selecting contractors, obtaining bids, reviewing them with us, considering our preferences, selecting materials and colors, and overseeing the work to replace the flooring, fogged windows, interior and exterior painting, deep cleaning, and staging. She kept track of each detail, managed each contractor’s work, and accomplished it all with great efficiency while staying within budget. Her support, guidance, patience, and attention to every detail were invaluable. Once the work was complete we had a house we were very proud to sell and Carly set to work marketing our home. She handled the inspections, researched the current market to offer a pricing recommendation, had the home professionally photographed, and used a vast array of marketing strategies to present the home on the MLS. After negotiating with potential buyers Realtors® and receiving multiple offers, she presented a comparison, explained them thoroughly, and guided us through the necessary decisions. With five siblings involved in the sale, this often required coordinating conference calls and maintaining excellent communication every step of the way. Carly did this all with efficiency, compassion, and seemingly such ease. True to her initial marketing plan, the home was in the contract, with a backup contract, within 2 weeks. Carly is incredible at her job. I just purchased our first home in the San Mateo area. Being first-time buyers, we were both clueless and nervous about the whole process (especially since this area moves fast and is hyper-competitive), but Carly was a phenomenal guide throughout. Before looking at any houses, she kindly took the time to go through a high-level outline of what the process would be like with us from basic things like making sure we get pre-approved to the detailed differences between various neighborhoods we were interested in. She is super experienced and has a lot of in-depth knowledge of the area which was a huge help; especially with factors we otherwise wouldn't have initially considered like crime rates and school quality. Once we were ready to start touring and checking out places in person, Carly was super patient and showed us lots of houses and townhouses in a variety of neighborhoods, price ranges, etc. She organized tours for us where we would see 10+ Houses in a day, which was amazing! She quickly helped us narrow in on what our preferences and priorities were. Ultimately, she helped us find our perfect home. I'm not even exaggerating Carly made sure she checked every box possible, and I was so enamored by it that I made an offer immediately. And once again during the offer process, Carly was a superstar. She gave us recommendations about all the different possible scenarios if they accepted, if they didn't, if they counter-offered, etc. She also walked us through the enormous amount of inspections and explained every detail of them, if issues were serious, if they weren't, what our options were for them. I felt like we were prepared for literally anything! With her expert advice, we navigated all that smoothly and successfully and now in a week my girlfriend and I are about to move into our dream home! I also really want to call out that although our search started a little before the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Carly was considerate of what our new comfort level would be in terms of continuing the search or not and how we would want to proceed if we did want to continue (within guidelines outlined by the county and state of course). If we did have a private viewing of an empty home, she also went the extra mile to bring gloves and cleaning supplies for everyone, wiped down everything before and after for us, and pre-opened all the doors so we would need to touch the absolute minimal number of doorknobs or things while inside.
